Up late, with a new pile of music from the weekend...

...but no time to listen this morning...

...as the article I read on John Cage on Saturday caused a wee epiphany in my head yesterday re what I need to do with the 31 field recordings I made in May...

...and so a new CBQ album is in the works...

Got quite a bit done before breakfast...

Then, a listen to this - I was trawling through "trio music" on Amazon, saw the cover and thought "I've got that"...

I searched it out from the new filing system (found it no bother) and then looked it up in my iTunes...

I bought it in December 2014 and today is the first time I've listened to it (other than one track at the time)...

Hmmm...

Later, in the rain, a walk down for the bus and on...

...for a slap up lunch at Dishoom in St Andrew Square...

We ordered possibly too much food and enjoyed drinks too...

..because we are on holiday...

Drinks came...

Extremely tasty Behl came...

...and then, everything else came...

Yumtastic indeed - I'd asked the waiter if, if we didn't have enough, we could order more - his response was "oh don't worry, you won't need to order more"...

A walk along Rose St and Princes St to Shandwick place and another bus back to the top of Crispycat Hill...

Today's classical piece was Herr Hindemith's "Symphonic Metamorphoses", enjoyed in the back room...

Meanwhile, over in Glasgow, young Olly was moving into his new flat today for year two of University...

He might fill those shelves with books...

He might not...

Coincidentally, we were on fire for "University Challenge" with 165 points tonight - second place...

Ended the day with the random LP choice...

It looks like the rare 11 track version...

But it's not - around 10,000 12 track versions were issued with the original sleeve and no one sided single...

I have the single in the attic though...

An absolute belter of an album to end the day, bought on its release in 1977 for, what you might say, "just" £2.65 - but that's £17.89 in today's terms...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Dishoom...
