And so October bites the dust...

Two holidays, so it can't be bad!

Today though, soundtracked by Berlin acquisitions and post the second holiday, back to reality...

And another CD purchase...

Home this evening for Halloween...

The Exec Producer was out and about and so, home alone, instead of doing anything too constructive,  or listening to new purchases, I watched three episodes of "Supernatural"...

No one came to the door to perform for goody drops...

Oh well...

Today's artwork, "A Speeding Car at the Top of the Hill"...

Highlight of the Day : Supernatural catch up...

The view from the office this morning, including field recorder doing its stuff...

Out into the sun...

...and down Schönhauser Allee...

...and round the corner into Ebersfelderstrasse...

...for porridge...

Post breakfast, a last walk along Kastanienallee...

...past the Zionskirche...

...at which point the long street becomes Weinbergsweg...

...all the way to Rosenthalerplatz...

From where we took a tram back home...

...and enjoyed the sun on the balcony...

...before making our final exit from the Zarenhof Russian Hotel - the quietest hotel we've ever stayed in - fabulous..

To the U-Bahn for a U2 up to...

...the station at Schönhauser Allee...

...and an S-Bahn to Beusselstraße...

...and an absolutely packed airport bus to, erm, the airport...

Where lunch was enjoyed...

...before heading through security to the gate...

The plane was delayed...

...but we were soon in the air and on the way back to Scotchand...

Auf wiedersehn Berlin...

The shadow of the plane...

..hello Scotchland...

We flew in from the West, over Livingston...

...and the M8...

...landing just before 5...

Through passport check and a bus home and a trundle up the hill and unpacking, ripping, reading and listening...

Top notch trip...

Later in the evening, found a 2.5 hour broadcast from Italian TV of Laura Pausini's latest tour - what more does an old codger returning from Berlin need?

Today's artwork, "Zionskirche"...
