Listening today, initially, seven new downloaded acquisitions...

Morrissey is particularly good...

The Eno is much better than the reviews...

In all, a good haul

And so, March gone...

Perhaps the strangest month most people on the planet have ever known...

Up early and to work...

The views this morning...

Teddy was at the window on the look out for children who were on the lookout for teddies at windows...

Poached eggs for breakfast...

Meanwhile...

A distinct lack of children it seemed...

A new "project" started...

Play four not that well known LPs for each letter of the alphabet...

A...

Lunch...

B...

Tea..

Oh. My. Lord...

But then, you can't beat Baked Beans I always say...

People on Whatsapp asking me to post a pic of what I was drinking...

Here you go...

A conversation on Twitter led to these pics...

An excellent collection...

"Holby City" was good...

As were "The Windsors"...

Is this really how we are to spend the end odf days?

It appears so...

Highlight of the Day : Poached eggs!

Up late...

...and four LPs this morning all purchased on the same sunny day back in 1975...

The views...

Breakfast was Weetabix and banana, lunch was this very tasty sandwich - I am becoming addicted to Branston Pickle...

Uh oh...

Another picture of some shelves...

This afternoon, four furtehr LPs, all purchased in April and May 1975, for a grand total of £8.39...

I was surprised to find that, in today's money, that would be £75!!

Pink Floyd's final effort soundtracked Anne's deft creation of yet another superb Red Thai Chicken Curry...

Post that, out for a constitutional - to a not that often visited part of our environs - noting more tree chopping down activity...

...and the sun going down again...

This evening I took pictures of around 130 of my remaining 12" singles...

Click on it to expand if interested...

There was no particuar reason for this - other than someone on Twitter asking if anyone had any 12" singles...

I posted up just 4...

At random...

Some TV...

I think it might have been tonight or maybe last night we finished off "The First"...

Only to find it was then cancelled...

So we'll never know if Sean Penn made it to Mars...

Or back...

Highlight of the Day : Old records...

Here I am today in my ludicrous shirt...

Looks even worse in colour...

One of my so-called "performace" shirts...

I don't like it much any more...

Meanwhile the view this morning...

A day spent working...

The soundtrack was mainly a couple of new downloads followed by 3 LPs acquired in the summer of 1976, all classics, by The Tubes, Kiss and Deep Purple...

Then, my first draft of the tracs for next week's podcast...

Chosen by duration once again...

For tea this evening, a lovely steak pie source from the local butcher by the EP...

A drive to the real office tonight to do some printing and scanning...

Eerie and weird...

Eventually tonight, my work was done and I closed down for the night...

A tidy desk is a happy desk...

Some pics of art book shelves for no reason...

..and some Bach...

 OK, all Bach...

I took this book to the living room for a read...

As ever, I failed, due to the lure of the Twitter...

Tartan trews were to the fore...

That's a Sunday in lockdown that is...

Highlight of the Day : Getting some work done...

I did not mention that, while Anne was cooking last night, I recorded the links for today's podcast...

So, up just after six to get it done...

The views from the office, first thing...

Back...

Front...

Inside...

Done in the two hours it takes to record and then, a break for breakfast - a tasty treat from the butcher...

..and some time spent in the living room just listening to Radio 4, with the Rev Richard Coles...

Then to uploading the podcast...

Done...

But then...

I discovered some glitches in tracks 3, 4 and 5...

I had to delete it and re-record those parts and then insert that into the existing MP3 over the glitched part...

Then uploaded it all again...

Done (pt 2)...

Then, the MP3 had stayed exactly the same length and so the start and end of the podcast had both been cut off...

And so, once again, I had to delete...

Had to re-record the start and end and re-edit it all together for the third time...

Finally out into the world around 2pm - just the 8 hours after getting going this morning...

Done (pt 3)...

Then some more WFH - which is simpler at the weekends as no colleague is e-mailing me incessant questions...

Anne started cooking a very tasty indeed lamb curry...

There was a four hour timeframe for this, so, with just the rice to go, we popped out for a walk...

Nicer weather today than yesterday...

Not sure what the story was...

...re this...

Onwards...

A chat in the street with neighbour Gail via her bedroom window...

She reckons it's this till at least August...

Uplifting...

Home...

In the kitchen, I noted the wee cat on the calendar was showing us how to wash our hands...

The last of yesterday's white wine was enjoyed....

...along with the today compiled initial playlist for next Saturday's podcast...

This, by Hammock, was particularly beautiful...

...as was Anne's curry - outdoing any Indian restaurant, I'd say - and I've been to a few...

We continued "The First" with episodes 3, 4 and 5, followed by two of "Extras" - already 15 years old - noting a very young "Mr Hansen" from "Holby" in one of the roles...

Lights out just after midnight...

Highlight of the Day : Anne's curry...
