Saturday!

Up early but not yet podcasting, as I hadn't compiled the playlist...

In the end, I decided I'd have 30 tracks, which meant they'd each be 3'40" long...

Turned out I have over 900 tracks of that exact length...

So, I had the computer choose 60 at random and started a-whittlin'

Meanwhile, in the living room...

Anne was catching up with the outside world...

Then, breakfast at home...

Look how excited I was at the thought of big juicy sausages! (not a euphemism)...

Cooked to perfection by the EP - she is a wizard is she not?

Yumtastic...

Then, out for a walk, preceded by a short drive in a fast machine, to a place where we took a walk, Cramond...

Wrapped up against the cold...

What are dogs like, with their propensity for carrying, frankly, far too large sticks?

Back home, Twitter threw up the need to show my David Bowie box, as chum Andy Long had bought it only to find no CDs included...

I turned a little into my dad for lunch, eating cold beans from a Tupperware box from the fridge...

...while Annie painted...

It's looking good...

Most of the afternoon was spent finalising the podcast, recording the links, putting it all together and then uploading it...

This evening, some lovely haddock...

Again the EP's culinary skills to the fore...

Salt and vinegar sufficed...

Some cheering up TV was also required...

A "Midsomer Murders" in fact, preceded by a "Shakespeare and Hathaway"...

The Album a Month playlist is rapidly approaching the now...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Anne's cooking...
