Well. that's March away already...

Up super early, finishing off and uploading the podcast...

The Twitter lead me to consider tracks that reminded me of School Discos in the early seventies...

The first of a number of playlists to be created this week...

A wee chum accompanied breakfast...

...as did "Saturday Night Fever"...

...and some puffins and a couple of Easter bunnies, destined for Olly and Kitty later today...

In the afternoon, picked up Olly and drove to Dunfermline to a frankly freezing East End Park...

Dunfermline seemed to have a n extra man, or bear or something...

And they ran out 3-1 winners, thanks to a hat trick by erstwhile QoS Top Scorer, Nicky Clark...

Galling...

2-1 would have been a better reflection of this fairly turgid game - Queens were pressing for an equaliser when the Pars got their third in stoppage time...

Oh well...

Back to Jane and Bob's for some "babysitting"...

By this time Kitty and chum Ellie were in the house...

A tasty Chinese meal was enjoyed, Switch was played and photos were taken...

...before we headed home as, to be honest the youngsters are old enough not to need a babysitter...

Today's artwork is "The Golden Rabbits"...

Up early...

...and into town on this Good Friday...

Some time spent with CK tidying up the debris from yesterday...

A welcome meet up then with the EP at 12:30 and a walk along to the Omar Khayyam Indian restaurant, bumping into chum Lynn's sister Sheila and partner as we made our way...

A very tasty lunch ensued with accompanying red wine...

Yum times three here...

Slight downer re the interminable wait for a bus home but we were soon holed up, on a not very nice day, with the heating on and enjoying "Paddington 2"...

As with "Paddington", there were a couple of "I have something in my eye" moments...

In the evening, the much looked forward to demise of the extremely evil character Mr Phelan, in "Coronation Street", was enjoyed...

And this week's podcast was recorded too, for upload tomorrow morning - a late entry being the work of Edward Spark...

And I couldn't resist a handful of new downloads...

That was it...

Today's artwork, "Tasty"...

Highlight of the Day : Indian lunch and Paddington, joint...

Good views this morning at the bottom of the hill...

This afternoon, a gathering, with prizes for quizzes organised by your correspondent...

...involving some measure of teamwork...

Firstly, bingo, with round the table picking out of names of artists being featured on the playlist soundtracking proceedings - Creme Eggs up for grabs...

Then, with the playlist being one hit single from each year between 1959 and 2018, the teams had ten minutes for each of the three double decades to match artists with songs, or artists with years, or songs with years, all for one point or all three for five points...

Oh how they complained about but, eventually, enjoyed the test...

Prog Rock Willie's team emerged victorious...

Double D's didn't...

The G Man's didn't...

Young Robbie's didn't...

Matty's didn't - not that he seems too bothered...

Eddie's didn't...

Lodger's didn't...

Bernardo captained the winners...

Wenders, also a winner, looked forward to the bubbly with an aperitif of vodka...

CK took her loss in good spirits...

...while you would't have thought that Gaz too, was a winner...

The quizmaster...

...was collected around 9 by his Exec Producer and whisked home in time for a much improved "Still Game"...

Today's artwork, "Early Morning Roof Under a Sky of Blue"...

People seem to like pictures of piles of music...

This was late on this evening, when I was alphabetising CDs which are still to be integrated into the collection around the walls of the back room - a mammoth task...

And so, today's artwork is "Leaning Towers"...

Finalised the playlist for tomorrow night and, during the day, enjoyed tracks from the "Impact LPs" list compiled yesterday....

Compiling eh?

Scenes from the back porch this morning...

..and outside said porch this evening...

A tweet from chum Sid Smith led me to compile a list (and playlists) of "LPs that had a massive impact on me as a kid"...

As you can see, for me, 1973 was a somewhat seminal year...

Meanwhile, a visitor...

Some telly watched and some tasty tea enjoyed...

Started work too on the music for a wee party happening on Thursday...

Today's artwork, "Welcome to Our Home"...
