Up early again and, this morning, getting this up to date after prepping re pics yesterday..

Out to my mum's for 8:30 - a hairy drive through worsening snow but got there ok...

A coffee and a chat, then, with sister Sheila seemingly stuck in Penicuik re the weather, off out to do mum's shopping, including a tub of this...

Back around 9:45 and met her morning carer, Jenny...

Shopping put away and more chat, before heading home, through the snow...

As the morning progressed and the weather seemed to worsen, today's proposed music session with Stu and Keith was postponed, given Stu's also being stuck in snow in Penicuik...

Instead some "Tintin" watched and fallen asleep to...

Later, as the snow went as quickly as it had come, on what was, to be honest, a whim, I decided to do away with the hi-fi in the living room and obtain a second Bluetooth Speaker, which will allow full stereo coverage in the room...

And so, or the first time since 1983, our home will have no conventional hi-fi in the living room...

Instead, these can be positioned anywhere...

Adios old chum...

A visit from a squirrel entertained...

...while Anne made some very tasty tomato and red pepper soup...

The new Laura album was enjoyed, before I retired upstairs to muck about (including ripping and listening to four 50p CDs picked up at the Cancer Research shop, just after buying the speaker - to join the fray on the living room shelf of my last 100 CDs, on which there is now no hi-fi to play them anymore), leaving Anne to watch her Sunday night TV in peace...
