Not just June but, indeed, half of 2019, gone...

This afternoon, post a visit to Ikea and the purchase of a few quite probably not really required items, including snazzy new cups and a snazzy new coffee cooker to replace the handle having fallen off Italian previous favourite of mine one, to the Lothian Cat rescue fundraiser...

So sad to see all the wee ctas in their pens but glad that there is so much support and that, hopefully, all will eventually be rehomed...

I did my bit...

To my mum's for a visit - her hearing aids are on the blink - the good ones that is - meaning everything having to be said twice re her not so good but almost double the price ones...

On the blink set taken away for a visit to the hearing aid shop at some point in the coming week...

To Anne's mum's and Kitty happy to no longer have her braces in...

...and sporting colourful nails...

A good turnout today...

...including a rare appearance from nephew Craig...

Charming...

Back home for some ripping listening and TV...

First listens this morning the new purchases from yesterday, followed by Roger Waters' set from this time last year and, then, the new CBQ recordings popped over to me last night by Creeker Craig...

Further feedback was provided...

I am liking these...

The living room is tidy once again but a new fire is, of course, needed...

Out uptown for various errands, including new trousers and including a walk up the mound...

...with its robot lawnmowers...

...and banks...

...to the Fringe shop to pick up tickets for later in the summer...

We stopped off in Princes St Gardens for a coffee on the way back...

We arrived home to find this...

...broken and abandoned...

We left him here - later he'd disappeared...

In the afternoon, recorded and uploaded last Saturday's and today's podcasts, only uploading the former, while, outside...

...hailstones hailstoned down...

Inside, I moved my hard drives to under the standing desk thing to try and keep things more tidy...

Success...

In the evening, super tasty Saghetti Bolognese and "Killing Eve" were the main events...

A trip to Fopp at lunchtime today, resulted in the purchase of the new Alice Cooper/Hollywood Vampires disc...

...which rocks - along with a tasty 5CD box by the Meters, following the purchase yesterday of one of said 5 CDs...

They funk...

Party time once again this evening, with chums Joshua, Raymondo, Gina G, Gaz, The Jackmeister...

...Big Al, Spike, The G Man, Bernardo and an as yet unpictured Matty...

Pop quiz, drinking and pizza, with an arabiatta and interspersed Diet Irn Brus for your clean-living correspondent...

A good night...

...with Matty now pictured...

I left them to it around 8:30 and headed home for quick listens to today's purchases and a just arrived, post feedback, second version of the new CBQ track from Creeker Craig...

Hot and sunny...

...and so, of course, I was in a dark charity shop and picked these up for a few quid...

This is extremely funky...

Other than that, a decision made, as it has been countless times in the past, to be a little healthier...

There are many ideas out there that can help with such a goal (a gym is not one of them though!)...

Probably some telly late on...
