Into June and a wee visitor in the garden this morning, Sid the Black Cat...

She (although I always kind of think of her as a he, due to her name - her humans thought she was a male when they first got her) is a wee cutie but is still very wary...

Unlike Fang the Black Cat, who popped through the window for some goodies - we'd just been saying last night how it had been quite a while since we'd seen him...

In the pic below, you can just see Sid looking on from her spot below the feeding station...

She ran off soon afterwards and Fang followed...

Bye Fang...

Next up, taking one of our least successful furniture purchases to the dump - of the two chairs and three seater settee for which we paid a fortune just a few years go, only the second chair now remains...

Meg the Black Cat started the decline and fall by clawing all three pieces within 24 hours of their arrival at Crispycat Towers and we had also been advised they were "leather" when, in fact, they merely had a very thin coating of leather...

Oh well...

Off you go...

...to the dump...

Back home and the links for the podcast recorded, the podcast put together and uploaded...

I am approaching 10,000 listens all told...

This arrived in the post...

Top notch...

Post a tasty salad roll, into the attic for some tidying, pre upcoming upheaval...

This, my first King Crimson record, spotted...

I also came across the original of my "bands family tree", which used to be on the wall in the Capital Models' flat in St Mary's Street almost 40 years ago...

I love all those old things...

Here, the scene post tidy...

It seems I have, counting the one down in the back room, five guitars - two electric guitars, two 6 string acoustic guitars and a 12 string acoustic guitar - plus three bass guitars, two electric basses and an acoustic bass...

That may be too many guitars...

Or may not be...

Anyway, all cleared and tidied...

An Indian Takeaway from the Bombay Feast sustained in the evening, as we watched Brian Cox's "The Planets"...

Not bad, superb visuals but full of conjecture and, when we're talking periods of several billions of years for things to happen, when we'll be lucky to be here for just 70 or 80 years, it's kind of difficult to get too worried about the sun expanding...

Much better was the return of Italian fave "Montalbano"...

As is often the case, the crime was one which he could not really have hoped to have solved...

Entertaining nonetheless and we look forward to the rest of the series,...

Highlight of the Day : Tidying...
