A reasonably healthy breakfast at the hotel...

...before heading down to the subway...

...and up, into the centre of that Nuremburg...

This, of course, became a target...

Overcast skies could not dampen our enthusiasm for yet another new to us German city....

...although this would, of course, be far more picturesque on a sunny day...

Ooh er missus...

Through the market....

...past famous fountains...

...and illustrated buildings...

...and large churches...

...heading to the castle...

...past Herr Durer's statue...

It was a long walk....

...but the views were good...

..and, eventually, we reached our target...

We were not alone...

...by any means, not alone...

Back down into the town, we passed a model of where we'd spent the morning walking...

...as we retraced our steps...

...and enjoyed a sandwich based lunch, overlooking the river...

Even more wandering ensued...

...before, after having consulted the Tourist Office, we boarded a bus out to an ominous destination...

Nazi central...

This exhibition started off being very interesting but quickly became frankly harrowing and left us absolutely horrified at the extent of the atrocities these people inflicted, in the main, on their own fellow citizens...

Absolutely unmissable if you ever get to Nuremburg...

The level of interaction and information is massive...

...as is the scale of the buildings erected on this field and panned but never erected...

And now, they cleanse it with concerts...

Utterly brillaint and utterly horrible at the same time but it has to be seen - we have to understand...

A tram back into town and the underground home...

...for some refreshment...

...and sustenance on our final evening...

Uh oh...

Uh oh but Mmmm, tasty!

Highlight of the Day : Learning...
