Could not sleep so up just after 4 and listening to Mr McCabe’s string quartets whilst enjoying a rather large coffee…

Bringing some downloaded acquisitions into the iTunes and noted a squirrel making a bit of a racket outside – no doubt a cat was about but Mr S came to no harm…

Listened back to the first ever Creek session - which took place 22 years ago yesterday, at the second Reptile Record shop...

Still sounds good..

Out for breakfast with the EP, hoping to enjoy a Quattro Zero a la a couple of weeks back with Dr Prog but, despite the restaurant being open (and their website also having advised us they would be open) we were told by the lady that they’re never that busy on a Sunday morning so they deep clean the kitchen…

Oh well – a bacon roll and coffee from Greggs hit the spot before we walked up to the Meadows for a look round this year’s festival…

The weather was cold and windy…

...and the music stages were scantly attended…

I managed to find a few "interesting" things on one of the stalls…

Home for some ripping and listening…

As we were about to leave for my mum’s, a text from sister Sheila advising she’d be visiting, so we didn’t need to go…

In the event, mum advised fine re no visitors, on the understanding Sheila would pop by tomorrow…

So, a bit more ripping and listening, before heading to Anne’s mum’s around 4:30 for tea…

First time for Mary cooking for us at her new place – tasty chicken and roast potatoes with veg followed by apple pie/rhubarb pie – all went down a treat…

Good chat too…

Kitty put me on Snapchat and made me look like a woman but the pic was lost to the ether…

She also made herself into a man…

…and gave me some colourful vomit…

So that’s all good…

Home in time for some surfing and listening before tonight’s two episodes of “What We Do in the Shadows”, fast becoming our fave programme…

Another “Agents of Shield” made its way onto the Tivo…

Hope to get to see it at some point…

Weekend over…

Highlight of the Day : Out with Annie…
