Up stupidly early but early enough to be able to record and upload this week's podcast and still get into town on the bus to meet Dr Prog at Quattro Zero at 10:35 for breakfast/lunch...

Meanwhile, Anne was off to supervise the installation of much of a new kitchen at her mum's new apartment - a task which ended up taking pretty much all day, without being brought to a close...

Post breakfast and good chat as always with the good doctor, we took a walk along to Fopp - noting a 21 gun salute from the castle at noon for the Queen's birthday...

The Doc made his way into Fopp, while your correspondent stocked up on Euros for an upcoming tour of Deutschland...

On joining the Doc in Fopp, these two 3CD sets were picked up for minimal outlay...

The Doc availed himself of the latest by Santana and we headed off home through the now pouring rain...

Back at the house, I set about some ripping and listening then, moved more of my CDs and books to allow for the upcoming upheaval...

Anne finally arrived home around six with tasty fish pie for tea...

This was followed by some listening and reading - a recently acquired book on the work of Joan Miro...

I particularly liked this work...

Ended the day with tonight's "Montalbano" adventure which was as enjoyably convoluted and entertaining as ever...

The first of the new "Killing Eve" was recorded for future viewing...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Breakfast with Dr Prog...
