Another day at home...

Second day back home and June is finished...

...half the year gone already...

Breakfast at home - blinds shut as our crazy neighbour has attached olive green plastic sheets to her washing lines for some unknown reason...

A day, again, spent on catch up, including sorting out Norway pics and prepping entries here, plus recording my second podcast in two days...

And we finished the second set of episodes of "Homeland" Season 7...

That was it, apart from discovering you can now add up to 10 pics to your BlueSky posts...

A day at home and Germany out...

Good to be home, although it'll only be for a couple of days...

The entire day was spent:

(a) sorting out pics and prepping diary entries

(b) watching the first set of episodes (possibly as many as 6) of "Homeland" season 7

(c) recording Vol 25 of the podcast and getting it out

and

(d) watching Germany be cheated by Paraguay and knocked out of the World Cup - albeit via, eventually, the worst penalty shoot out performance I've ever seen by them...

Oh well...

I was up around 2:30 - couldn't sleep...

Eventually, I did, but was up again around 8...

Out for breakfast today...

The best pastry and hot chocolate in town (again)...

We were joined by a wee friend...

Back through Torshov park to the apartment...

We decided to just watch the last 2 of "Homeland" season 6...

Spoiler Alert: Quinn will be missed...

Then, a final look and out...

...and a tram down to the Vigeland Park for a last look there...

...before heading to the station...

Lunch at Burger King...

...and to the platform in plenty time...

...for the hour long journey to the airport - it is rather far away form the city...

(Actually Anne did have a problem re missing stamps from her document but that was worked out)...

Boarded - this time, in a seat opposite the worst window seat in the world...

...and landed, pretty much on time...

The usual long queue at passport control...

Funny how they check everyone coming in but, as far as I'm aware, we have never once had our passports checked on leaving?

So exactly how do the authorities keep track?

Out and an airport bus and a trundle up the hill...

And home...

Unpacking and re-setting up, ready for the initial work on the catch up to commence (which I am finally finishing now on 13 July!)...

 A great trip!
