Right - let's get to it - it's now Monday 6 July and time to get the Norway trip up to date...
Up and packed things that I needed to pack...
We would not see the calendar again until the 28th...
A light breakfast...
...and out and down the hill...
...for an Airport Bus...
Our trip coincided with the start of the Highland Show at Ingliston so we gave ourselves plenty of time...
...but sailed through security anyway...
This morning, I was being soundtracked by BlueSky chum Svein-Frode's compilation of Norwegian music..
Meal deals for lunch...
And onto the plane at 2pm...
Worst window seat ever...
...with only occasional and very obscured views available...
Landed at 3:30, 4:30 Norwegian time...
A very quiet airport...
By 4:55 we were on the Light Rail into town...
...and, an hour later, this was the view from the office this afternoon....
Unpacked and out...
...for provisions...
A small pasta tea enjoyed...
At 8, out for our first walkabout...
We were very much liking Bergen...
We made our way down to the harbour area...
...and the Bryggen - the old Hanseatic League buildings...
The beast and its Exec Producer were about their business...
A further exploratory walk ensued...
There seemed to be some kind of graduation ceremony going on today...
Eventually we started back to base...
...for beers and coffees...
...some music...
...and contemplating the expense of eating out here - almost £30 for some cabbage...
Judiciousness would be required...
