Up, and out in search of breakfast provisions...

Eventually found a loaf of bread for just £7...
Home and enjoyed but not pictured...
Out again...
...and a-wandering, under overcast skies...
Around the lake...
...and into the old town...
...and the Bryggen...
Eventually, ice cream was required...
...and, later, lunch as required - this time "ordinary" sausages from the sausage kiosk...
Then, to the harbour for the main event of the day...
Our transport arrived...
We'd been at the front of the queue...
And off we went - there now follows an inordinate amount of photos, taken on this fjord cruise, to Otterstadstølen...

It took an hour and 40 minutes to reach the tiny settlement of Otterstadstølen...
...and then, time to head back, taking in slightly different views (mostly) on the return trip...
I stayed outside most of the way...
Anne was definitely enjoying the trip...
It was a little windy re the speed of the return trip - it seemed faster but, in fact, also took an hour and 40 minutes...
A 10 minute sit down...
...and back out for the views...
Eventually, we were one of only a handful of hardy souls still outside...
Eventually, Bergen came into view once more...
...and into port we came...
Most enjoyable...
And celebrated, of course, with a cake...
...and a new hat...
Then, with today being the best day, weatherwise, we took the funicular up the mountain...
We could see our house from here...
Superb views...
...and, there were goats...
...a troll...
...and a lake...
...with ducklings...
...and their mum...
Very peaceful indeed...
Back to the viewpoint...
We waited for the sun to come out from behind the clouds...
...and then, back down...
...with some final views...
...and another walk around town...
...including the cathedral...
Back to Angry Bite for tea...
...and a walk home...
A long, enjoyable day...
