Up at 4 am and downloaded the new Yes LP, put it on the mobile music unit and returned to bed to give it a first listen...
Did not get back to sleep and rose at 6, almost at the close of the second listen...
I would say "it's very good indeed"...
Up for #NewMusicFriday...
Other stuff joined Yes, including the new Goose LP, the new Hawkwind and the next in the Robert Fripp at 80 releases (see all below)...
Breakfast, with Yes...
Then, I created instrumental versions of their last 3 LPs, to better hear what's going on with the playing...
By the time I'd completed that task, it was 10:45...
Out and down the hill, the instrumental version of the new LP now soundtracking...
An airport bus into town - I noticed I was coughing quite a lot...
To FOPP and the LP purchased along with an offer on Syd Barrett...
Back on a 26 home, now starting to feel not great...
Back home by noon...
To the back room for a CD listening session...
Just the Yes though, as Anne returned from Zumba....
Syd would have to wait till tomorrow...
Lunch - a very tasty veggie burger...
...was followed by an afternoon of coughing and snuffling while we made our way through "Homeland" Season 4 to within a couple of episodes till the end...
It seems I developed the beginnings of a cold this morning and so, with our Norway trip less than a week away, I decided to try and lie low for a few days, in an attempt to beat this....
However, the likelihood is I will fail, as, when I catch a cold, it usually lasts up to 3 weeks - which would take me to the end of our trip...
But fingers crossed...
Accordingly a pub meet up with Gaz 'n' Bern postponed till early July...
Instead, while they feasted on pizza...
...we enjoyed the best Spaghetti Bolognese in the world...
...and Canada v Bosnia & Herzegovina's 1-1 draw...

I'm always amazed that, when I pick new releases on a Friday by people I’ve never heard of, so many turn out to be fabulous...
