Bergen has over 200 days of rain a year and is the wettest city in Europe...

We were unaware of this until now...

Out we went...

...into the rain...

...past the Grieghallen...

...and around the lake, Lille Lungegårdsvannet or, Smålungeren...

...and its statues...

...including one of me...

...and back down...

...to the harbour...

...to the tourist info to pick up a few tips...

Even with the wet conditions, it was lovely here...

...and a truck provided a Bergen specialty...

We headed to the Rosencrantz Tower...

...and King Hakon's Hall...

..and the Kong (not King) Haakon statue...

We went into the hall and discovered connections...

An impressive venue indeed...

Back out into the rain...

We walked back along the port...

...to the cathedral...

...where a wedding precluded us from seeing the inside...

...but we caught a glimpse...

...and out...

...for a wrap based lunch at "Angry Bite"...

...followed by a visit to Rocade Musikk...

...where these three Norwegian (ex-library) classical items were secured for 100 NOK, aka £8...

Percussive bass work...

...mainly piano...

...solo clarinet...

Then, time for a wee boat trip...

...which afforded some good views...

Back on land, time for some more shopping...

...and a walk home...

For beers...

...and music...

Out for tea...

Noted these nearby...

...back towards the harbour again...

...to the three crowns for sustenance...

Reindeer Sausages for the same price for one as the three CDs earlier...

Tasty - a shame for the reindeer obviously...

Insoles were required re a discovered fault in my boot...

Sought and bought...

...which allowed for more comfortable walking...

...during which we stumbled across the bar/record shop, Apollon...

At last, a reasonably affordable drink - anything under £12 a pint was rare indeed...

...in very nice surroundings...

After a relaxing time and a couple of drinks, back home, we worked out that we could only watch stuff "casted" from my phone on the TV...

And so, Alice Cooper closed the day...
