Sonny Stitt - My Buddy : Sonny Stitt Plays for Gene Ammons

The last day of May - the third weird month...

Sunday morning...

Last day of the environmental/field recordings project - I have ended up with over 10 hours of sounds...

Hmmm...

Views...

Lovely music - a 2CD set of Chopin's Nocturnes by one of my favorite pianists......

Breakfast...

And then a walk...

...after a quick shirt change...

We drove a little beyond Jane and Bobby's and walked to Sainsbury but the queues meant no shopping was done apart from a couple of items in Superdrug...

The change of scenery was appreciated though...

Back home, Sonny Stitt was the random LP today...

Enjoyable...

Up into the attic and vocals for all twelve of the songs for the new CBQ LP recorded...

I did not do anything with them...

I don't think they will be any good...

Oh well...

A treat for tea - Anne's Spag Bol....

...followed by musical bingo with the family...

...for which we were briefly joined by a debris sporting Fang...

On receiving zero Dreamies due to our Zooming, he was soon off back out the window...

We had two lines and three houses out of four games and won a virtual bottle of wine...

Two hours of fun before bedtime...

Weekend over...

Highlight of the Day : A new walk...

Finally it was Saturday - the podcast was already ready and was listened to...

...and then uploaded post a couple of ours of mucking about while I listened...

Views this morning...

Later on some songs were attempted in the attic...

Today's classical piece was by Chopin once again...

Played by Helene Grimaud - I nearly saw her play once at the Edinburgh Festival but she was taken ill...

Maybe one day...

More views...

I found these in a cupboard in the attic the other day...

Nice...

Breakfast from the EP - to which I added lettuce and tomato...

Today's random record was an early eighties LP from Francoise Hardy...

Better than I remembered...

An Italian import...

I thought I might have bought it in Italy...

..but the cover indicated most likely and Edinburgh second hand purchase...

Hmmm...

Out for a walk...

back home, visitors as Rory Custard and (an unpictured) Fang came to say hello to the EP...

In the evening, following the aforementioned foray into the attic, which produced the square root of hee haw in terms of musicking, we ordered takeaway pizzas from our neighbour's restaurant...

Mine was very nice...

...but Anne's looked even better...

Sucj is the way...

Scones for pudding...

..and strawberries later - just for some healthiness...

Lights out...
