Oh I do like a Saturday...

Slept in today...

...but was soon at the console creating content for that internet...

Breakfast reasonably late, with the radio, as is now our Saturday ritual...

I have realised scrambled eggs taste better "on the side" rather than "on the toast"...

Today's classical piece was the last of 8 by Mozart, his (penultimate) 40th Symphony...

From this disc, which, initially, I struggled to find...

But, before doing anything about that, out...

...for a walk with the EP...

Ostensibly, shopping while we exercised...

..including a visit to a pet shop to spend an inordinate amount, considering we don't actually have a pet...

...but, we view it as the price of our feeding station entertainment...

Home after just over an hour...

To this...

The Mozart was bought in October and I remembered I have a round 120 single composer classical discs in the 2nd top row, which needed to be integrated into the bottom four rows...

A tasty opera selected and in I went...

Piling and, indeed, filing...

..with a break for lunch of course, comprising tasty leftovers from last night...

Then back to some, at times, precarious work - the whole lot could have come crashing down..

At one point my big backside caught a pile of discs as I bent over to check something out..

Onwards...

Jeez oh...

A second opera - this was taking a while...

Getting there...

And so, the A-Z of single composers was complete - these (the four rows plus the small amount on the top) are they...

From G-Z re single artists discs added and, it was done...

Three and a bit hours of "fun"...

A third opera started...

...but, eventually, abandoned, in favour of today's random LP choice, Ideal from 1982...

...followed by yet another tasty tea, today, of chicken pasta...

Some TV and then, closing the day, a new project...

Imagine - it's 1970 & I only buy new entries into the UK album charts...

By mid May, here's my collection (i.e. these are the records I have today which entered the charts 1/1/70-17/5/70)...

5 are from 1969 and 1 is from 1967 but all are listed as new entries in that period...

I enjoyed that task and indeed listening to the selections on shuffleplay...

Of course, in 1970, it was still a couple of years until I'd make my first LP purchase...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Filing while listening to opera...
