The views from the office this morning...

Still in lock down...

Today's classical piece, another by Mozart - his Clarinet Concerto in A - one of his last works...

I was going to play the version from this...

...but this sounded more "sprightly" and so, won the day...

Then, a couple of suggestions from the Blue Note Twitter feed...

Breakfast...

Not pictured, are the sausages, egg and beans enjoyed by your correspondent...

Uh oh...

Today, I started my A-Z through the jazz collection, choosing the 4 discs for each of the first four letters...

As you can see, as with the Rock & Pop and Classical projects, I am avoiding the usual suspects and using these to take a listen to discs which have been, perhaps, a little overlooked...

Lunch...

...and a "Schooled"...

This afternoon, to the attic to do some "tidying"...

...which basically meant looking at what was in a lot of boxes and then putting the boxes back in a slightly different configuration...

I found a book on Mozart, issued with a CD in 1991 celebrating the bi-centenary of his birth...

...and the remote control for the CD playeer in the back room (binned as it no longer functions) and four pairs of headphones (two binned two kept) and a portable CD player (also binned as it no longer functions)...

I did not play anything...

Back downstairs, listened to a disc from this set which has just left the living room shelf...

Then, after a read of the Mozart book, listening to his earliest compositions, written at age 6...

A call to my mum - still doing ok - still no word on her release...

A tasty chicken pasta tea...

...was followed by the delights of Mr Bow (Purcell's teacher) and his only staged "opera", written for Charles II...

...followed by the Escobar disc which also arrived yesterday...

Then, this week's "Killing Eve"...

Still got it...

Then, new comedy, with a Larry David connection, "Dave" and re-runs of "What We Do in the Shadows" - looking forward to the new series...

Final views tonight, including Venus once again...

Lights out, weekend over...

Highlight of the Day : Anne's pasta and Mozart - and Blow...
