Started the day as I did yesterday, although it went unmentioned, with a recording of the environs...

I intend to do this for the rest of May...



Good, if treated, skies...

...and to finishing off the podcast...



Posted it up then, Saturday breakfast of sausages....

...and the radio...



Radio 4 on a Saturday morning is the only time I listen...

I am only 60 (not 90) for another couple of days...

Recorded some acoustic guitar in the back room, tried some acoustic bass...

...then, went into the attic to record plug in bass and vocals...

In all, 15 songs from the CBQ back catalogue - until I was driven back downstairs by a lone, seemingly angry, wasp...

Put together quick mixes of a couple of tracks...

Not sure if this will come to anything...

Today's classic, No 4 of the 100, was Bach's concerto for two violins - again from the big box of Bach...

Later, in the mail, 4 discs arrived...

Some delightful Haydn...

..and three others that make free jazz sound like Take That...

For tea tonight, an Indian Takeaway, for which I drove to Roseburn and back, along deserted streets...

A couple of pakoras each...



...followed by Karais all round, chicken for Anne, lamb for your correspondent...

Meanwhile, Kitty sent me this pic from, presumably, around 15 years ago...

...while Bob sent this one from a good 35 or so years back...

The Fangster popped by yet again...



...but did not stay long...

Clouding over...



Tried these headphones out - Phillips - they are certainly good at blocking out extraneous sounds...

Not too sure about the colour though...

I think we may have watched yesterday's "Father Brown" this evening...

A Saturday squandered?  Or reasonable work carried out...
