Up but what was the time, Dave?

Ah...

Tried out some possible Satie follow up pieces based on Janacek and Beethoven but didn't get beyond rejecting possible pieces to work with...

The silver cat wasn't saying much...

TFI Friday...

To pre breakfast business...

...with Mozart's Oboe Concerto...

Then, breakfast...

Then WFH, as ever - but enables us to actually have breakfasts of course...

"Father Brown" at lunchtime...

No evidence of what I ate...

There is however this from mid-afternoon...

On shutting down for the week, gin was called for...

And so, one year and 10 days after receiving an intriguing bottle of said imbibement from Olly & Kitty, on the occasion of the day after my 60th birthday, this was finally cracked open...

...and something tasty was on the stove...

A lovely lamb casserole with a mix of sweet and "ordinary" potatoes...

Yumtastic, as I am inclined to say, almost every day - in fact probably every day...

Good to be locked down with someone with culinary talents....

Music wise today, there were new downloads added to the fray...

A new single from Alice Cooper!

The new Sparks album was also out today for download (physical in July)...

Suffice to say - it's album of the month material and unlikely to be bettered...

From Robert Fripp, the next in his his weekly soundscape series - he's doing 50 weeks!

Three prog medleys (Yes, Genesis, Rush) from multi instrumentalist Canadian, Antoine Baril...

The latest piece of ambience from Japan from Betts (JP)...

And a couple of new to me soundtracks from Max Richter...

The Jazz A-Z continued with the first couple under H...

And some Yes favourites were also spun...

The random record, as chosen yesterday, was, aptly, given their new album's release, Sparks' "Introducing Sparks"...

Then, late on, prepping the content for this week's podcast, recording the links and making a start before hitting the sack...

Highlight of the Day : New music and a casserole...
