And so, time to say goodbye to Bergen...
One last trip to the shops...
I did not buy these...
...but I did buy these...
...and home for breakfast, post which, we watched a couple of short films re tips for Oslo...
Then, off we went...
...to the railway station...
Provisions for the journey sought...
...and in...
We were an hour early...
A note came up saying there was the possibility of delay or cancelation due to signal failure "in the mountains"...
Uh oh...
Despite this, we boarded on time...
...and left bang on time...
There now follows probably far too many pics of the train trip from Bergen to Oslo...
This was enjoyed...
Having left at 11:30am, we arrived around an hour late, at 8pm...
...for our first glimpse of Norway's capital...
A tram to the Torshov district, where we picked up the keys to our apartment from a local delicatessen...

A beautiful flat in beautiful surroundings...
A quick snack...
The second part of the holiday will start tomorrow...
For now, we enjoyed the start of Season 6 of "Homeland", thanks to our host's Netflix account...
