Up and ready for today's wedding...
Up and ready for today's wedding...
Looking not too bad...
Keeping a visual note of all things eaten...
...and drunk...
At 1, to the venue, the very cold indeed "Biscuit Factory"...
Craig was readying things...
...while I enjoyed the first of, quite possibly, too many cups of red wine...
People started arriving...
...and Craig needed some assistance in correctly adorning himself with an obviously very seldom indeed worn tie...
The rest of the family arrived...
...looking splendid...
Nibbles were partaken of...
...then, the bride arrived...
...and we readied ourselves for the ceremony...
Here, the Humanist minister...
A very relaxed and, it must be said, entertaining affair...
...with much hilarity re the long back story of the couple...
Lee had done an excellent best man job...
..in not losing the rings...
Tequila shots cemented the union...
..and everyone continued to have a good time...
Even the beast...
...cracked a smile...
There were maids of honour...
...and street food...
..and speeches, from Craig's mum, Sharon...
...and Lee...
...both of which were top notch...
Some shots from around the space...
Eventually, the evening guests began to arrive...
...and Craig and Arianne fired up the sound system...
Mary was super pleased to have her picture taken with "the boys off the television"...
...and this may well have been "the first dance" although nothing was announced...
...in keeping with the general air of unconventionality - which made it a much better day...
It wasn't that late when, post bacon roll/mac'n'cheese, we made our exit...
A long, long bus journey home, still saw us back in time to see the "boys off the television" on the television...
Although a surfeit of red wine caused your correspondent to drop off before the end...
A good day...
Hihglight of the Day : The wedding...
