Listening to day was mainly a playlist of 40 cover versions, one track from each of Alice Cooper's 29 LPs, a couple of hours of the latest work of the revitalised Tangerine Dream and some quite superb classical piano music...

I was, as usual, up reasonably early to get working...

WFH is a lot more stressful now it seems, than it was when I started a week ago...

Hard to believe too, that it's merely 2 weeks since nephew Craig's wedding...

Like a different life...

But, onwards...

Once again, poached eggs, yesterday having been such a triumph...

It worked again...

Yum...

After working as much as I possibly could all day, post 5:30, out into the gloom for a walk...

We went to the local grocery store in search of bread but there was none...

The view from the office late afternoon...

...including Anne's hood...

Later, once again, Anne saved the day from aforesaid gloom with a top notch pasta dish...

...utilising 4 minute fusili, which made a wee change on the pasta texture front...

A cheers pic was sent out to family and friends...

We started watching a series from November last year, "The First".  There are 8 episodes but, on looking more closely at the library on the Tivo, it seems episode 7 did not record...

Oh well, we'll just need to fill in the blanks...

Lights out for the weekend...

Highlight of the Day : Getting out the house for a wee while...

I enjoyed "The First" and was looking forward to another series, but it's been cancelled...

Yes - I noted that when I tried to find out "what happened next". We watched 6 and 8 last night. No idea who the guy with the old style telephone in the workshop was - maybe Sean Penn's imagination? Weird show but good. Pity it wasn't recommissioned...
