Up probably too early...

Good skies though...

Looking for and finding tracks from this but only four of the fourteen...

Elsewhere, some new synthesiser music found via new to me act, the best-period (73-77) Tangerine Dream-like sounding, Cosmic Ground...

Once Anne was up, some switching around of stuff took place...

LPs to the computer room...

Books to the back room...

Shelves too switched round due to slightly different dimensions...

...which meant a snugger fit in the back room...

Meanwhile, nephew Ali was here to investigate a problem in the newly installed heating system...

With top notch engineer...

Without...

Bo the Boxer was also on hand to assist...

She was roaming the house, trying to think what might be wrong...

The switch around was complete - for now - we'll see how it goes without the standing desk, standing at which has been interfering with my left knee - it may well return shortly...

Some records played...

This re an upcoming trip, purchased in 1983 - we will see the false colours, finally, soon...

It's Falco...

Some 7" singles brought from the attic too...

Meanwhile, the heating problem was determined as being down to a dead bee re the overflow tank in the loft having made its way into the system and having blocked a valve...

Job done...

Out to my mum's - she was subject to a short infection this week but made a miraculous recovery - the doc saw her on Thursday and, on Friday, had returned with blood results, fully expecting to admit her to hospital - but a full recovery had been made and so she was on reasonable form..

Anne re-tuned her telly too - much to her delight...

On to Anne's mum's for a birthday tea for step-niece-in-law Abbie...

Kitty...

Kitty's foot...

Birthday girl and boyfriend Blair...

Anne and Bob...

Mr Wriggles the caterpillar cake...

Post a tasty lamb curry, desert options...

...and ritual blowing out of the candle...

Home and "Strictly" for Anne - then, quite possibly the worst episode of Dr Who Anne and I have ever seen...

Slapping us round the head with the least subtle message that racism is bad and almost zero entertainment or science fiction value whatsoever...

Very disappointing...

The Twitterati loved it...

Puzzling...

Many argued that, originally, "Dr Who" was conceived as an educational programme to teach children about history...

That was almost 60 years ago...

We will stick with it but the preachy, touchy feely nonsense and lack of viable "foes" is starting to grate...

Not to worry...

Today's artwork, "A Record From the Attic"...

Highlight of the Day : Not Dr Who anyway - moving stuff about...
