Breakfast at home and then out and a drive to the Long Mynd, which afforded some beautiful views...

...including, as noted above, wild ponies...

We drove all the way across the moor and descended at the other side...

Then, we drove around to another access point, which involved some Executive Production re some gates...

Back up onto the moor...

..and more, even cuter, ponies...

Onward...

Later we drove up this valley but did not stop...

The town of Church Stretton beckoned...

...and lunch of freshly made sandwiches was enjoyed at this vantage point...

The view from the office this afternoon...

...including many ladybirds...

We drove on to Bishop's Castle...

...and then, on to Clun...

...with its ruined castle...

...and bowling green...

...which are fairly close to each other...

A walk through the town...

...took us to the river...

...for coffee and gingerbread...

...and people and their pets watching...

Back home and a return trip to the charity shops around town resulted in the purchase of a music encyclopedia, bringing the holiday haul thus far to this...

In the evening, post the download of yet more electronic music, out for dinner with Teresa...

...at the Blue Boar and then, joined by Christopher and Mac the Dog, on to the Rose and Crown...

...before Chris showed us some properties he was interested in...

Perhaps I'll get a better pic tomorrow night...

Today's artwork, "The Haul So Far"...

Highlight of the Day : The Long Mynd...
