A lovely day...

1st of October and autumn is affecting the leaves...

Listening today mostly comprised the tracks for Saturday's upcoming podcast, one of which was Eric Prydz - the 3CD best of I have of his music was listened to almost in its entirety as I went about my uneventful day...

Other than that, I was prompted by the Pedantic Pedestrian, occasional remixer of Mr CBQ, to listen to Henry Cow and, as regards a theme on the Twitter re LPs that impacted, to recreate a Miles Davis 2LP compilation I had in the early 80's, my main memory of which was playing it as background music on one of the rare times my mum and dad visited our then flat for dinner...

This is it...

It's actually just a 2LP set bringing together his 50's LPs "Cookin'" and "Relaxin'" - which was, I suppose quite apt re the parental visit and what was a-happenin'...

Autumnal views on the way down the hill this evening - berries, fallen fruit, fallen leaves...

Another new pole spotted too...

A very tasty indeed chilli from the EP sustained...

Once again we thrashed the losing team on "University Challenge"...

More listening later on, to two new discoveries, from Al Sundvall, owner of Bam the internet cat, Domenique Dumont and, from the Pedantic Pedestrian, the post rock band, Ça...

Today's artwork, "The New Pole"...

Highlight of the Day : Re-creation...
