Saturday!

Up to record the podcast...

Editing the links took over 50 minutes due to so much blethering last night...

Then, there were, of course, various botches made...

Some very interesting music across the 30 tracks - I should be on BBC 6 Music to be honest...

Coffee sustained...

...pre breakfast with Annie - tasty sausage city...

...with radio...

...and visitors...

...and dead flowers...

Out in search of shelving - this at B&Q but none in stock - we were, of course, all masked up...

A depressing and disappointing venture out - but, on the way home, we took a detour to Lidl and I went a bit crazy on the old food shopping front - enjoyably crazy though (for me anyway, not so much for Anne, probably)...

My provision acquisition facilitated a tasty lunch...

And so decision made, the end of an era - the walls of sound are coming down...

...to be replaced by more shelves of sound...

I discovered that Ikea are still selling the shelves above - I'd thought they'd been discontinued...

Thumbs up from Anne as sets were ordered, along with more CD boxes - and a Whatsapp with Jorg in Deutschland during which he advised he is going back to work next week - great news...

Today's classical piece was Nielsen's 4th Symphony, "The Inextinguishable"...

Heavy...

..and the record of the day was Robert Fripp's "League of Gentlemen"...

...bought 21 January 1982 for £1.99....

...and...

...the precursor to King Crimson’s return in 1981, after a 7 year absence...

Ended the day watching High Voltage...

Emerson...

Lake...

...and Palmer...

Hard to believe it's 10 years since Dr Prog and I witnessed their final gig...

Once again, bed around midnight...

Highlight of the Day :  Shopping for food at Lidl...
