Sunday - made all the better as, tomorrow, there will be no WFH..

After having used both small Sony blutooth speakers in the living room last night to entertain during Jane and Bob's visit, some proposed changing of things around in the computer room necessitated this pic...

..and resulted in this arrangement...

In the afternoon, out to my mum's...

After some tidying, Ali, Julie and Harris arrived for a surprise (for my mum - we knew) visit...

Many pictures of the baby were taken...

Proud Great Aunt Anne...

Proud Great Grandmother...

Proud Great Uncle...

BAck home, a Sunday delivery brought these three items of tastiness...

...and yesterday's (played today) random LP of the day was another classic from Deutschland...

Early German punk...

...with Peter Hein and Thomas Schwebel, later of my fave German band Fehlfarben...

The album includes three early versions of later Fehlfarben standards, Militürk, Herrenreiter & Ernstfall...

For tea, Spag Bog - yumtastic...

Then, changing the computer room again, having had a brainwave and having retrieved a "shelf" from the attic...

My head is ideally placed to enjoy Pam's old speakers...

On the 100 classical pieces front, yesterday's and today's were both by Prokofiev - "Peter und der Wolf"...

Image

...and the 5th symphony - the latter being infinitely better...

Ended the day on the "new" system with Johnny Harris' “All to Bring You Morning” from 1973...

...featuring Alan White, Steve Howe & Chris Spedding....

...and Jon Anderson singing on the 14 minute title track...

Progtastic...

That was it for today...

Highlight of the Day : Meeting wee Harris...
