Better up time today...

The yesterday's latest arrival means all 75 CDs on the shelf have been acquired since lock down started...

First thing, listened to ELP at High Voltage, 10 years ago today....

Once you get past the ropey start to proceedings, it was quite superb - what an atmosphere...

A farewell to arms and rest in peace indeed right enough...

Some chat on the Twitter about Beethoven symphony cycles...

I have these, plus Karajan without a cover (stolen from our record shop - the cover that is)...

But, on a recommendation, I proceeded to download these...

Meanwhile, a wee friend was taking refuge on the window sill when I opened the curtains...

Breakfast - mushroom frenzy...

..by me, while Anne expertly poached...

Good results...

Later, out to meet up with Dr Prog at Fopp...

A walk to the zoo...

I was ready for my first bus ride for 18 weeks...

...however, due to a fellow passenger not being so ready for such travelin these weird times, I alighted at Haymarket and walked along...

I was in Fopp at 11 as agreed...

No sign of Dr Prog...

...but some judicious purchases were made...

He finally arrived half an hour late due to eschewing any buses re non mask wearing buffoons...

He bought one CD for £3 more than the haul I'd invested into - quality not quantity for the doc of course...

Up Lothian Road for a very tasty lunch indeed...

As we parted ways, the Doc advised me of an app that allows me to use my Library Card to download and read magazines..

BBC Music was thus accessed...

...and a chance read planted a seed...

Post parting, a visit to the BHF shop up at Tollcrss resulted in one more CD for 99p and an architecture book for £2...

Another bus home...

Down from the Terminus - part of which is shown here...

It had been good to be out - despite the mask-necessity...

The haul in detail...

These from Fopp for £20...

..and these from the BHF...

This evening, a welcome visit from Jane and Bob...

...and some masterly cooking form the EP...

All in all, very nearly almost a "normal" Saturday...

And I'm on holiday...

it's all good...

Highlight of the Day : Out...
