Up at seven...

The views...

More breakfast mushrooms, today, with German bread...

Post listening this morning to yesterday's classical piece, on to Holst's Planet Suite...

Anne was off out shopping with her mum and they returned to the house for coffee, bringing chocolate eclairs - how could I resist...

As we chatted, a delivery...

Only ordered a couple of days ago, it was the 250 new CD boxes....

And so the wall take down began at lunchtime...

..and was finished off in the early evening...

The random LP of the day was King Crimson's much maligned budget live effort from 1972...

Anyone going along expecting a mellotron-tastic time of it, on the basis of their, at that point, three available LPs...

...would have been sorely disappointed...

I still enjoyed it though...

Later, back to work...

...moving the CD holders up into the loft...

...with some help from Anne...

Soon, all 36 were up...

...and the room looked a lot different...

and/or, frankly, a mess...

More organising...

...before a tasty tea...

An episode of "The Level", which we started watching yesterday, having recorded it back in September...

Then, "Holby City", accompanied by a fox outside trying to catch a squirrel...

Final tidy...

Of course it will all need to be moved again to allow a paint job on the walls - and when the new sets of shelves arrive...

But I was happy with the result...

As you can see...

Some listening to Miles...

...and the end of the day...

However, elsewhere, a big day for Ali and Julie...

...with the arrival of young Harris Robert Wilson at 2:30 am...

Twenty minutes later...

I asked what his first name was...

He's actually alright as babies go...

Congrats!

Highlight of the Day : Moving my CDs..or the birth of a new Grand nephew?  Hmmm...there's only one way to find out....fight!!!!
