A good rising time...

Dreich outside so internal views, mainly of box sets awaiting a new home...

The beast was listening...

Today's random record was Kraftwerk's German version of, in 1986, their first LP for five years...

It would 17 years till their next...

...and it’s now 17 years since that one...

Quality not quantity or too much time spent cycling?

Breakfast - the last of the big box of mushrooms - the unpictured box being just the right shape for CDs...

Later, the last of yesterday's scones - our visit from Julie, Ali and newborn Harris postponed again....

A visitor to the window of the room where it all happens...

I suspect the squirrel was avoiding a cat...

...but I like to think it wanted some scone...

At tea time, as we enjoyed some shepherd's pie, after having earlier eventually, rather alarmingly, fallen off the window ledge, the wee beast was back - this time at the feeding station, doing its best to try and steal the entire goodness filled coconut shell...

Soon, a trio was in attendance...

Meanwhile, this afternoon, this, ordered just yesterday, had arrived...

Superb pianoing and an excellent programme of works...

I had not heard the Hartmann before and noted the only other works of his I have are his string quartets...

Perhaps that needs to be looked into...

A visit from Fang for Dreamies...

But, tonight, as we watched several old episodes of "Taskmaster", he decided to hang around for a while...

...and a enjoyed a wee snoring included snooze on the back of the sofa...

A reasonable day, in which another six holes in the digital collection re LPs I still own were plugged by the downloading of Mittagspause, the Gleaming Spires (Sparks backing band from the early 80s) and three double LPs from Blue Note from Paul Chambers/John Coltrane, Jackie McLean and the Jazz Crusaders...

Late on, some previously un-owned Argent entered the fray - plus a couple of best ofs - joining the three early morning Kraftwerk related additions...

That'll do...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Plugging gaps...
