Up late...

First thing, fixing a couple of timing issues in the performances of "Ruby Don't Take Your Love to Town" and "Wish You Were Here", on the reference recordings for the band, also included in the Leith Dockers Setlist playlists...

Well over an hour to add around 5 seconds, all told - but, done...

Breakfast...

Then, with Anne out at Zumba, should really have been recording the podcast, now 5 days late...

But, instead, ran through the third set - again playing without singing...

Sounding no bad...

Then, continuing with my viewing of the Russian Robot Thing "Better Than Us" - just a couple of the 16 episodes to go...

Lunch was an awful (accidentally bought for my mum by it being in the Chicken & Mushroom soup box at Sainsbury) Broccoli and Stilton soup, plus a much more to my liking filled roll...

Thereafter some music listening and recording a rehearsal for the CBQ set tomorrow night at Out of the Bedroom...

Another rehearsal tomorrow methinks, of those three and the three Crazy Wisdom songs...

If we get the slots, we'll have 30 minutes to play with but the six songs only last for 18 minutes...

If only everyone who played was so brief LOL...

Tasty pasta for tea - much better than my pathetic attempt yesterday...

Crusty rolls, the masterstroke...

The last two episodes, of six, of the only season of "Eternal Law" - it's been reasonable - set in York, starring Samuel West, about Angels sent to earth being lawyers (in York) and trying to sort humans' problems (in York), with a fallen angel as the prosecution (in York)...

Yeah, I know...

Enjoyed with a glass of Rosé each, each of which constituted half a bottle...

...which was definitely needed to then sit through England beating The Netherlands 2-1 via,  after a superb opening strike from the Dutch in just seven minutes,

(a) the most shocking and, frankly, preposterous penalty decision I've seen in a long, long time and 

(b) a goal in the last minute...

And so they scrape to the final and there's only one thing to say...

Come! On! Spain!

Just as well it's only a game and I am not that bothered...

And it allowed another couole of new jazz things to be enjoyed while I watched, ignoring the commentary...

Where is the red button to remove the commentary but leave the crowd?
