New music Friday - slim pickings today though, on the new releases front anyway, other than classical and few jazz items...

OK then, not slim pickings (see below)..

...and, 1st Friday of the month, the new CBQ LP was let loose...

Prior to all that though, awoke to this - which was good...

The two intelligent magpies were back at the feeding station...

...before I headed over to my mum's...

I'd waited until the afternoon as a new personal alarm system was supposed to be being fitted - turned out they'd done it all yesterday...

Mum was wondering about the cereal situation...

I was able to advise it was good...

A note left for the carers - they really have0t put mum's hearing aids in without fail...

Home via the Gyle, where I picked up the latest The Wire with Wire Tapper 65 on the front...

And so I now have 65 CDS of weird and wonderful (and, it has to be said some not very wonderful) music...

...and a new lead arrived re playing the fabby disco sounds through my PA when at the Dockers (or, indeed elsewhere)...

I do like a new lead - weird...

As I watched the footie tonight, new jazz entertained...

...along with a tasty dish from Wong's...

Penalties again for Portugal, this time against France but, this time, no saves from Do Costa and out they wwnt, having failed to score in theior last four hours of play in the competition...

France through...

Followed by more tasty jazz...

...while these had also entertained during the day...

And into the weekend...

Highlight of the Day: SNP done...
