A Sunday following on from a Saturday that seemed like a Sunday...
A morning Capital Models mucking about...
A wee bonus for the boys - of what we might sound like next week...
Mostly taken from the wedding in May plus a few other things from elsewhere where songs weren't played at that...
I joked that, if they play along with this it'll get their changeovers between songs right up to speed (as all the songs kinda run into each other)...
My main takeway from listening back was, apart from realising how much of my singing live is (a) too loud and (b) out of tune, there was a fall in energy in the 2nd set going into Folsom Prison Blues so I subsequently brought that 4 song section forward, amending the running order...
Lunch and the first episode of "The Jetty" with Jenna Coleman...
We'll stick with it - there are only four...
At 2 or so, a visit from Lynn and Ross - Ross had a bag of equipment with him...
It was shelf repair time...
...which included drilling of new holes in both the wall and the bracket...
And, soon, it was done...
But Ross noted the CD shelf could also do with some TLC...
And so, it was removed and the bracket tightened up...
...before the team replaced the shelf...
The maestro and his handiwork - complete with less heavy book selection on the lower shelf...
Coffees, biscuits and chat enjoyed...
Books reversed to "from small to tall" to "from tall to small"...
And off they went, home for tea...
For ours, my fave from Anne - while it took an inordinate amount of time to prepare, it was delicious and well worth the wait - perfection...
Second "The Jetty" this evening and some music listening and book perusing...
Today's New Music:-
