Seemingly unfilled days can actually be packed full...

Playlist

A day of what seemed like not very much really...

...but was actually packed...

The snow had all but gone...

Morning tasks completed...

...including today's CD Box, No 63, from Weinberg to Zemlinsky...

A favourite band, Concerto Koln, playing two symphonies, in a World Premiere Recording of the music of Johann Wilhelm Wilms, on Archiv, from 2004...

Wilms composed the music used as the Dutch National Anthem...

...from 1817-1932...

Breakfast...

Then, to booking a trip to Norway in the summer...

Fraught but done...

Flying to Bergen - train to Oslo - back home from there...

Accommodation still to be sorted...

Set up the new WhatsApp Group for the line up of the band which will play our next gig, in June, here...

...and discussions on that (plus the regulatory salvo of "Chicago PD") took up most of the day...

This evening, Pilates for Anne as I sorted out my song sheets for a first meet up with temp guitarist Martin McQueen on Thursday - we have over 50 songs to go through...

Also supplied him with various recordings to get started re, initially, playing along with the band, at home...

Baked Potatoes for tea and a measly 60 at "University Challenge"...

Then, upstairs to continue with the filing...

Found this inside Rush's "Roll the Bones" CD - £13.50 for their gig in Glasgow in 1992...

In today's money that's around £40...

But Dr Prog recently paid over £300 for his ticket for their upcoming tour...

Madness...

No, wait, Rush, not Madness...

Mind you, the other day, I shelled out round £150 for a seat in the Pavilion Theatre Glasgow, in October, to hear Alice Cooper speaking on his book tour re his upcoming autobiography...

Two free books though so, you know...

Took what is destined to be one of my fave pics of the Exec Producer, as she researched various days out etc in Norway, while I filed...

We enjoyed Mick Ronson together - which was followed by a solo listen to Tangerine Dream...

In all, another 30 boxes completed...

Another 10 and this batch can go back on the shelves...

Ended the day with Russ Ballard's debut solo LP from 1974 (same year as Ronson, above) - inspired by a wee article on BlueSky re the Billboard blurb on he first Argent LP after he left...

...encouraging retailers to display Ballard alongside Argent...

It was deemed, "no bad"...

Anyway, lights out at midnight...

Highlight of the Day: Norway in our sights...
