Some excellent new stuff into the library today (see below) and I managed to listen to quite a few items...
...pre and post breakfast...
...and while the filing continued - another 40 boxes done...
At 1:50, out, walking slightly better than yesterday but still not up to full speed - took roughly 1.5 times my normal duration re the walk down the hill...
By three, I was at the bar where we were to meet - but not till 4 - this first pint lasted me that early hour...
Bernie was first to join me...
...followed in swift succession by Gary and Willie...
Good chat and nice beers...
Anne popped in for a glass of wine on her way home from her lunch at Howie's on Victoria St with Debbie & Teresa...
Just before six we headed along to Haymarket, stopping off for a couple of bottles of Malbec on the way and ending up at Omar Khayyam...
Poppadoms at 6:15...
Finished 9 minutes later...
At 6:30, Omar's Mixed Kebab as a starter for me...
...the others all choosing the King Prawn Butterfly...
...and mains arrived 14 minutes later...
My main was, I think, Sindhabad Special Mix - with rice and Peshwari naan...
Superbly tasty...
A good time was had by all...
Bernie headed post the meal, me Gaz and Willie popped along to the Scot's Guard's Club for one last drink before we headed for train and buses...
Anne picked me up at the bottom of the hill...
A very good afternoon and evening out...
And leg not doing too badly...
