Playlist
Up early on #NewMusicFriday and pulled in almost 60 new titles (see below)...
Only two of them figure in the massive playlist above...
By the time I was finished with sorting them all out, I did not have time to do my morning online chores...
A quick run through the new songs for Sunday...
Just before 11, out and down the hill...
..to Costa for a coffee with Anne, Lynn and Sheila post their Zumba...
Then, into town...
Keeping tabs on what was popping up on my shuffleplay...
A tram down to Leith Walk...
...post a sandwich lunch...
In the Bethany Trust, having bought 4 CDs in the shop next door, I hit the motherlode of a presumably recently abandoned prog rock collection...
Across the two purchases, 33 CDs for £33...
Tram back to Princes St...
...and a bus home...
Like yesterday, I was subjected to a traffic jam...
Home just before 3 to drop off the CD haul and a quick turnaround and back out...
Meeting Anne on my way down the hill as she was coming up, post a vaccination - we were caught in a downpour...
Wet shoes on the bus...
...as I returned to town...
I was early for my meet up with Gaz & Bernie and so popped into the office for a chat with Elouise and Christine and Gaz and some of the others and met our latest employee, Christophe Berra, former Hearts captain...
...and awaiting the arrival of chums...
Three hours later, armed with two bottles of red wine, we were back at the Omar Khayyam...
Poppadoms...
...and starters...
...were prompt - but our mains took nearly an hour to arrive post starters...
Tardy but tasty...
And off we went for our respective buses...
9:20 as I sat up the back on mine...
Down the hill from the terminus...
Noting what was once the hellish house at the end, finally has had a new front door fitted - it's coming along...
Home at 9:58...
...and finalising the recording of today's out and about listening...
...before falling asleep and being awakened later by Anne to go to bed and fall asleep again...
A good day...
Highlight of the Day: All of it really...
