Mother's day and tagine...

Playlist

Up just after six ...

...and some quiet filing of recent "main body" acquisitions from A-R into the recently re constituted boxes...

Then, the daily early morning work...

...and downloading of a couple of things suggested on the BlueSky...

Post breakfast and Anne heading to PickelBall...

...time to compile, record and upload the podcast for this week...

Here, the playlist...

...cover...

...participants...

...and source recordings...

This afternoon, over to see Mary for Mothers Day - 21 years ago on Mothering Sunday, this here blog was just starting...

Cards from her three kids...

Additional flowers from Anne...

A cake in the cafe - best before I reach 67...

Back home, listening back to the podcast while Anne prepped a tasty lamb tagine...

Around 2 hours in the making...

...and nine minutes in the eating - it was superb...

Picking the next CD box...

No 62 Vivaldi - Weinberg...

3 of Pavel Vranicky's 56 (or possibly even 73!) string quartets...

Now fallen into obscurity, he was highly respected by Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven...

The latter two preferred him as conductor of their new works e.g. Beethoven's 1st Symphony, in 1800...

An evening of "Chicago PD" (Spoiler: Season 9 concluding with the sad demise of Anna), plus football highlights and podcast listening, while, outside, a smattering of snow arrived...

Lights out at midnight...

Highlight of the Day: Anne's tagine...
