Pieces unlikely to be recorded or played again. But the collection, incl 12 World Premieres, is excellent and, indeed, recommended...

Then, with Anne awaiting the arrival of the gas engineer, the car was packed up and I was off over to Winchburgh, for an initial duo session with Capital Models temporary replacement guitarist Martin, at his place...

On the way, a call from Malcolm - stranded in Leeds, no money left, no money on his bank card (which he didn't have with him) and turfed off the bus last night at 3am as his pre-bought ticket was dated for the day before...
Arrived at Martin's and sat in his driveway buying a Flixbus ticket for Malcolm to get the 12:20 bus home, then e-mailed it to him - luckily he still had charge on his phone...
Later, a message to say, he had the ticket was on the bus ok..
Relief - I had a feeling I might have to drive to Leeds to get him!
I said I'd give him a lift home from town once he arrived...
To the session...
The (probably unrealistic, given my lurgi scenario) target was 53 songs...
In two sessions, with a sit and a chat in Martin's back garden between, we managed 28...
A successful four hours or so...
Home for lunch and a couple of "Chicago PD", then, to booking the accommodation for Oslo...
A couple of hours later, done and dusted...
So now, just the "entertainment" to research...
A task on which Anne has already started...
A swift edit of the today's sessions and, at 5:30, into town to Haymarket to pick Malcolm up...
We took him home, his tales of woe soundtracking the journey to Balerno, along with my cold inflicted warbling over two guitars...
On the way back, we stopped off at Wongs and brought these beauties home...
Did I mention it was Thursday...
Friday again tomorrow already...
The last two in the current series of "Ellis" - enjoyable once again...
Then, around 10, to doing proper edits of the session and getting them out to the temporary quartet...
...and trying to get rehearsal dates into the diaries...
Bed past midnight...
