Forgetting to rip...

Playlist

Back to an early rise...

...under treated skies...

Scenes...

Two days worth of online chores done and dusted...

Out for breakfast, leaving just after nine and driving to the roof of Waitrose...

Cafe Andaluz was shut for renovations, so, to new to us, Two Children, for breakfast...

Americanos...

...and Bacon, Egg & Avocado Brioches...

Very tasty...

A look around - Shelter also shut for renovations...

Two things found in Oxfam for £2...

Back to the roof of Waitrose, a few things having been partaken of inside, prior to heading to the roof...

Home and listening - but I did not rip - it's just now while writing this, that I realised this ommission...

Will do it now...

Anyway, the haul...

Then to reorganising the box sets at the window...

...with a break for lunch - the last of the latest home made soup...

And pancakes and coffees...

An episode of "Impossible" enjoyed, then, to work, rehearsing the new additions to the Capital Models set - just me and the guitar - it will sound better on Sunday - I hope...

Back to business and the reorganisation done by 3:30 or so...

Influenced by BlueSky to play this Allan Holdsworth related set...

Today's CD Box...

No 71 Fretwork - The Haydn Quartet

Canadian cellist, Ofra Harnoy plays some tasteful Beatles covers (plus “Imagine”), with the help of a string quartet...

Recorded 1985/6, reissued in this package in 1991...

Just one of, possibly, too many CDs I have of classical musicians treating the Fab Four’s canon with perhaps too much reverence...

“Nice” though…

I really can’t deny the tunage of these Beatles songs but could that be partly due to their having been “everywhere” for 60 years?

Hmmm…

According to the credits and the front cover of an earlier release of these works, the arrangements are by one Doug Riley…

 My dad was Doug Reilly…

Spooky…

Anyway, around 6:30, Anne declared the tea "ready"...

Crab and crawfish ravioli with a tasty tomato and pine nut sauce - things bought earlier at Waitrose...

Yum-tastic...

I shelled out £11.99, over and above our annual subscription to Prime, so that we could continue with "Chicago PD" - watching the first three of Season 11...

Spoiler alert - Adam lives...

Ended the day with some late night listening...

Disc 2 of this beauty of a box from 2005…

I was lolling around...

Then,“The 21st Century Guide to King Crimson: Vol 1 1969-1974”, disc 4, Live 1973-1974…

Yowsah!!

Bed at 11:30 with Uriah Heep live in 1974 in the cans...

Highlight of the Day: Out and about, re-organising, music listening, Chicgo PD...
