A day of filing and charts...

Playlist

Up before 6...

Scenes as I "worked"...

The first of 4 of my "CD Box CDs" listened to today, soundtracked breakfast...

Then I picked the fourth...

No 64, the last of the composers, Zemlinsky to Zimmerman, plus the first of the artist CDs, Academy of St Martin in the Fields to the Amsterdam Guitar Trio...

Three quartets....

...by Bratislavan composer, violinist, conductor & "artist manager" Anton Zimmerman...

...a contemporary of Haydn & Mozart...

 ...symphonic rather than chamberesque...

As the classical continued, first filing of the day gave me another 10 boxes, to put 40 back on the shelves...

Then, the final 16, bottom four sections on the right, including film soundtracks; plus 12 unamended CD single boxes; plus reconstituted CD-Rs and card sleeve CDs, and the first wall was done...

Then prepared classical and jazz CDs for filing and stored them in presently unmarked boxes, ready to do that wall...

...which will integrate all the digipak classical and jazz to the left of the window...

The work allowed me to return six units and three of the recently purchased old Ikea storage things (ones in use seen here bottom left) to the attic, where the small table (seen bottom right), joined them...

Post an unpictured salmon based tea, sadly, not tagliatelle this week, but tasty nonetheless, to compiling this week's top 20, with Soft Machine becoming my 11th No 1 LP in 11 weeks...

My LPs of the year thus far, remains objective rather than subjective at this point, based on (a) highest position and (b) most weeks on the chart...

A top 5 placing is thus required to make the current 30...

I think, other than TV watching, that was it...

Highlight of the Day: Filing...
