A cat in a basket can entertain...

Playlist

Better get this written before my memory fails...

Luna prowling first thing...

...just before 7...

Treated sky..

A wee handful of biscuits keeps her from pestering Anne...

Post the early morning tasks (soundtracked by Tangerine Dream), goodie drops for me...

It was the weekend - but I was going nowhere - mainly re the leg...

Hours were spent with Microsoft Co-Pilot trying to get it to do things, like precis this diary, create compilations of CBQ stuff and of Alice Cooper and of Yes...

It  always thanked me for calling it out when it blatantly made stuff up...

Here's an extract from our exchange:
Me: "I don't understand why you cannot find the content of the blog. It's there on the internet?"

AI: "I get why this feels confusing — the blog is online, you can load it in a browser, and it looks like any other public Blogspot site. So why can’t I “see” it?

Here’s the simple, non technical truth:

Why I can’t access the blog directly

Even though the blog exists publicly, I don’t have the ability to browse the web like a human. I can’t:

open URLs
load pages
scroll through archives
read blog posts directly

I can only access information that appears in search engine results. If a site isn’t indexed in a way that exposes its content through search results, I can’t retrieve it.

And Blogspot archives — especially older ones — often don’t surface their full content in search results. That’s exactly what’s happening here.

So the blog is real, but the content isn’t being returned in the search results I rely on.

But here’s the good news

You can still get the full Cloudland Blue Quartet history you want."

In other words, I can make stuff up for you which looks like it might be true...

Anyway, all saved for future times...

Do you see what I did there?  Never mind...

A further goodly part of the morning spent on work re Anne's mum's care home situation...

Then, picking a CD from the next box...

Starer to Stravinsky...

Chose the Arditti's playing Stockhausen's "Helikopter Quartet", recorded in 1999...

4 players, 4 helicopters, a bit of a racket but worth the 31 minute listen...

It’s been performed fewer than 10 times since its premiere in 1995...

Just to clarify - there is no upfront racket - just background racket...

That and non-Kraftwerkian shouts of numbers, in German...

Plus, of course, expert string quartet playing...

Up to No 11 on Mixcloud's classical chart this week...

Someone asked me to rank these...

Today, it would be:

9 Camel
8 Jethro Tull
7 Van Der Graaf Generator
6 Rush
5 Pink Floyd
4 Emerson Lake and Palmer
3 Genesis
2 King Crimson
1 Yes

Tomorrow, it might be different...

Chippy tea this evening, post Scotland thrashing France at rugby and Queens coming from behind to draw 1-1 with Stenhousemuir in Dumfries...

Luna displayed various states of comfort this evening, while we watched 4 episodes of "Chicago PD"...

She weedled a place in a basket for good measure...

Her parents are flying back to the UK tonight from their stay in Florida - her grandparents are not, thanks to Grandpa Luna having misplaced his passport...

Jeez oh...

Bed at midnight...

Highlight of the Day: Chippy Tea...
