Up reasonably early and set up the mini disc to record last night’s Bad Plus concert off the video recorder...

Wrote up last couple of entries of this...

Toyed with the idea of going to the Record Fair but passed – I probably have enough CDs to be going on with...

Early afternoon, we headed out to Penicuik to visit the sister of Creek cohort, Stuart Cobley. Lesley (and husband Paul) have two boys, Arran aged five and Jack, seven months...

Had a good time and helped Arran out with some Lego building...

...before some impromptu musicking involving the young man on his keyboard, me and Paul on guitar and Anne percussioning – all under Arran’s conductorship...

The sound was questionable but enjoyable...

Footie in the back garden then a shot on Paul’s Vespa Scooter...

This form of transport beckons but may be too dangerous for an impatient driver such as your correspondent...

In the evening, over to Fife to meet up with Chris and Ferret for some PS3 games – the Cloudland Blue team won seven out of seven outings against the Dalgety Bay Boys on “Buzz”...

....while Anne made her karaoke debut on "Singstar", obtaining an almost 90% score on Pet Shop Boys’ “Always on My Mind” – a superb performance – she may have a future on the stage if she can overcome her nerves...

Finally left for home around 2:30am all PS3’d out, having also “played” golf and tennis...

Back home to Meg the Black Cat...

Highlight of the Day : Anne discovering she can sing...
