While we enjoyed Vivaldi and Mozart on DVD, our third courgette made its way from the garden to our plates where it was joined by tasty salmon, potatoes and broccoli...
However, two of our three tomato plants were also on the move as they made their way to the bin – they seemed to be doing so well until last night, when they just went to buggery...
We got the tomato plants, the courgette plant and a pepper plant from the couple at the end of the street – they had a surplus...
Apparently if you let a courgette grow and grow it becomes a marrow...
This very friendly and generous couple have a small child and are also mum and dad to Rory Custard the Kitten and, tonight, the latter came along again to visit Meg the Black Cat, who continues to be freaked out by Rory Custard’s attentions...
