The Beatles - 1
I responded to some junk mail the other day and, today, received a free copy of The Beatles’ “1” CD, containing 27 number one hits...
Very nice...
Other than that, it was cross between Limewire, “Coronation St” and “The Blue Nile” as I:-
Downloaded more tracks selected via various EMO US TV series...
Watched no fewer than 3 taped episodes of the UK’s best soap, in which tonight I had to feel sorry for Danny Baldwin and Cilla Battersby-Brown...
Listened to The Blue Nile’s almost peerless catalogue of music...
And a wee bit of the Fab Four too...
This is my 675th post. If I assume 30 minutes' work on each, and a 12 hours day, I have spent roughly a month of my life just keeping this diary...
Is it worth it?
Highlight of the Day : A free Beatles CD

Is it worth it? - it's keeping me amused (and supplied with some tips for music to seek out on Acquisition!)
Excellent - I will continue...
PS Just looked up "Acquisition" - I can't use it as I'm PC'd not Mac'd - still, glad to be of service Mr(s) Anonymous...
didn't mean to be anonymous - it's me, Lindsay, your long lost childhood chum, now to be found in France!
Lindsay - great stuff - I read your comment and a big smile spread across my face - hope all is well - I hear your parents are due in France shortly for an extended stay - give them my regards
Lots of love!!
I'm a huge fan of the Blue Nile, but have never heard of 'rarities 1982 -1996'. Where did you find it?
I compiled it myself from various CD singles, 12" singles etc...
