Stayed in all day today – renewed pain in the shoulder did for me. Getting a wee bit down about it all but need to keep things in perspective and remember the length of time before the op during which my arm wasn’t moving properly and that it’ll take a good while to get back to “normal”...

Consequently quite a bit of TV today ”Everybody Loves Raymond”, “Will & Grace” and “Frasier” first thing and, later on, “The Simpsons”, the frankly weird “Heston Blumenthal” (who took an age and a couple of visits to Germany to make a piece of Black Forest Gateau which would take a round 10 seconds to scoff), “Trinny and Susannah Undress” ( I must stop watching that), “CSI Miami” and a little bit of “Horizon” (discussing the possibility of life on earth having started from extra terrestrial material – the conclusion – no evidence, just some scientists saying “perhaps life on earth started from extra terrestrial material”) and of “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares” (he turned around a restaurant in Nerja – where we holidayed back in March 2005 just after I started this blog)....

Ended the evening with “Newsnight” which included a big piece on the current “crisis at Hearts” which seems to be over-occupying Anne’s mind at present...

I am a great believer in the adage “It’ll all turn out right in the end” and am now applying that to both my shoulder and Heart of Midlothian Football Club...

I also downloaded Faust’s first two albums, “Faust” and “So Far”. Weird...
