Still didn’t feel like going anywhere – so it was, in a way, fortuitous when Dr Prog called mid-afternoon to advise that the Carl Palmer gig we’d been intending to attend tonight had been cancelled...



Did basically nothing today other than tidy up the MP3s for the “new” Beatles album by converting them to wav files and editing off the silences at either end of each track so that, once burned to CD the transitions run smoothly....

TV was a nightmare with the dreadful annual amateurish nonsense that is “Children in Need” hogging BBC 1 all night. Thank heavens for two episodes of “Coronation St” on ITV 1. Also recorded the film “Red Planet” for later viewing...
