What should have happened last night, will happen in 55 weeks' time...

Playlist

Was feeling a bit better yesterday but, this morning, worse again, and so, up early re the coughing...

Approaching the weekend...

Coffee required...

Wrote up the diary and spent just over an hour removing the vocals from Hatfield and the North's self titled debut...

Sounds so much better (to me anyway)...

Their second will be for another day...

Breakfast...

The view from the office this morning...

Box No 113: John Coltrane - The Crusaders...

Chose the latter's debut LP - well, their debut following their name change from The Jazz Crusaders to just Crusaders...

Funky music from 1971...

Top!

Around 12:15, out with Annie and down the hill...

...as we headed to...

...The Corstorphine Inn, for lunch...

Lentil soup...

Very small Fish & Chips...

Apple Crumble and Custard...

£8 each - truly, a pensioners' lunch...

On our way back to the bus stop, this wee monkey spotted...

On the way down from the terminus, this mushroom infested tree trunk spotted...

The tulips in the garden were soaking up the sunshine...

Tried watching the latest in the "Knives Out" murder mystery film series but, of course, I was soon fast asleep...

On awakening, I decided to add some of my 12" singles to the digital library...

Discovered my 8 Cocteau Twins records are worth around £500...

They will probably end up in a skip...

Post a filled roll tea, we started "Knives Out" again and I made it through...

Very good indeed...

Post that, just time to discover that the re-arranged Yes gig (should have seen them in Glasgow last night) is in May - but not this May, no, in May 2027, over a year away...

Maybe that'll give them enough time to learn some songs off their upcoming LP...

Lights out at 10:30, as tomorrow will be an early rise for the Exec Producer - her trip to Vienna, Salzburg and Munich starts in the morning...

Highlight of the Day: Pensioners' lunch...
