Playlist
1st thing, a bootleg of Alice Cooper in 1973 discovered and downloaded for later listening...
Pretty sure I've heard it before though...
Yep, just checked and I already obtained copies in 2020 and again in 2023 - maybe it's a three year thing...
Anyway...
Next CD Box...
No 93 From Naxos Sampler 3 - "Primavera"
A few of my favourite classical compilations are in this box, including the two l'Oiseau-Lyre sets and, today's choice, Deutsche Grammophon's "Original Masters The Singles"...
From 1953-1965, DG released over 1,200 singles & EPs, in various series & styles...
The 44 works from just 16 of those releases are on this set...
It was still pre 6:30 am...
This latest CD choice took the number, as yet, not listened to, up to 9...
Today, I listened to the first four...
It was Wednesday...
...and so Anne was off to Zumba, while I "worked"...
Post lunch of new home-made carrot and coriander soup, with Anne gardening, I went out for a wander down the hill...
...and along the main street and then got a bus back up...
...and wandered back down from the terminus...
...all the while soundtracked by the Coops in 1973...
Arrived home with goodie drops in my pocket, to accompany two episodes of "The Black List"...
Fang also popped by for goodie drops - after having been chased up a wall onto the roof of a porch by next door's wee dog...
Late afternoon, working on setlists for the gig in June and running through all the amended songs with guitar for the first time...
It went fine...
This evening more "Dead Loch", rediscovered "Emily in Paris" (we'd only watched the first episode of the latest series), new thing, "Twenty Twenty Six" with Hugh Bonneville, which made a promising start and, finally, some European football...
Then, dishes and shut down...
Bed...
Wednesday over...
Highlight of the Day: Working on the revamped songs...
